The Glass House

A barefoot-on-the-sand beachfront restaurant south of Jomtien — driftwood styling, sea breeze and a long Thai-and-seafood menu best enjoyed at sunset.

🏖️ Tourists Updated June 2026

Pattaya does a lot of things loudly; The Glass House does sunset quietly and well. Strung along the sand on the Na Jomtien coast, it’s the kind of place you come to as the heat softens, order something cold, and let a couple of hours disappear into the view.

The vibe

Driftwood, lanterns, and tables that spill onto the beach. The mood is relaxed-romantic rather than fine-dining-formal — equally happy for a long lunch or a sunset dinner. The menu is broad: Thai standards, grilled seafood, and enough Western options to keep a mixed group happy.

Worth knowing

It’s south of the main Jomtien strip, so you’ll want a Grab, Bolt or scooter to get here — it’s not a walk-to spot from the city. That slight effort is the price of the setting, and at sunset it’s worth it. Prices, hours and exact location should be confirmed before you go, as beachfront venues change.

Pros

  • Genuine toes-in-the-sand beachfront setting
  • Lovely at sunset and into the evening
  • Broad menu spanning Thai, seafood and Western

Cons

  • You'll need a Grab or scooter to get there
  • Beachfront location means premium-ish pricing
  • Very popular at sunset — book ahead on weekends
